Unini Odama, MD, MPH, MBE

Unini Odama, MD, MPH, MBE, is a Nephrologist and Vice President of Medical Affairs for DaVita Kidney Care. At DaVita, Dr. Odama leads the infection prevention program and the health equity team. Prior to joining DaVita, Dr. Odama worked in clinical practice in Alabama and Georgia. She also served as a District Health Director for the Georgia Department of Public Health. Recently, Dr. Odama served as a panelist member for the End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Prospective Payment System (PPS) focusing on identifying health disparities and achieving health equity in renal dialysis services. In addition, Dr. Odama is a bioethicist and serves as a teaching faculty in global health ethics at the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics.

Tiffaney Holm, BSN, RN

Tiffaney Holm, BSN, RN, works for Sanford Health and lives in Northern Minnesota.  She has worked in dialysis for over 15 years. Tiffaney began her career in dialysis as a technician and knew she found her place. She continued her education and became an RN and has been in that role for 11 years. For the past 10 years, Tiffaney has held a leadership position in the White Earth Dialysis Unit and for three years, she has managed the Detroit Lakes Dialysis Unit. Dialysis is Tiffaney’s calling, and she is passionate about her team, patients and their families.

Rason Hunter, CCHT

Rason Hunter, CCHT, currently works for Fresenius Kidney Care as the Regional Lead for the Eastern Virginia area. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing. He has been in Nephrology for 28 years and has been the Regional Lead for the past 4 years. Rason is currently also serving as the Area Access Manager, Water Room Expert, and Clinical Floor Preceptor. He is also the President of the Virginia chapter of the National Association for Nephrology Technicians. Rason’s current role focuses on regulatory compliance, participating in area strategic plans, ensuring alignment for goals and objectives with those of the region, as well as providing leadership support and guidance to facility management including clinical and technical staff. Rason is a co-editor for Fresenius Medical Care’s Preceptor Pulse newsletter.

Michelle Monk, MSW, RYT 200

Michelle Monk, MSW, RYT 200, is the Clinical Social Work Coordinator for the UVA Health Dialysis Program, has been a dialysis social worker for UVA Health for the past 12 years, and has a special interest in supporting patient adjustment, potential barriers, complex mental health and behavioral health patient needs in the outpatient dialysis and CKD settings. Prior to dialysis, she worked in Northern Virginia doing advocacy, community planning and quality assurance work for the older adult and Medicare beneficiary population. Michelle enjoys yoga, mindfulness practice, meditation and being outside in nature and works to help patients discover these and other tools to cope with day-to-day challenges and enhance personal joy and quality of life.

Priya Nori, MD

Priya Nori, MD, is an adult Infectious Diseases physician at the Montefiore Health System/Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she directs the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and is an Associate Professor of Medicine.
