Dr. Brown is an Internal Medicine Specialist, Director of Practice Redesign for the American Medical Association, professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Rush Medical College, and past governor of the American College of Physicians (ACP). She has practiced as an internist for over 30 years at FQHCs, private practice and a large integrated center. Dr. Brown is a frequent guest lecturer at academic, national and international health care conferences. Her areas of expertise and publications include: adult immunizations, practice efficiency, joy in medicine, medication adherence and diabetes. Dr. Brown received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton and her medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago.

Maddie Brady is a Project Manager in Improving Health Outcomes at the American Medical Association. Maddie works on the Ecosystem Change team that is committed to removing barriers to cardiovascular disease prevention. She leads a grant initiative aimed at building the capacity of physicians, health systems, and collaborating organizations to prevent diabetes among disproportionately affected populations. Maddie is passionate about disease prevention and addressing health disparities. She holds a MPH from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
