Dr. Rowe will also share and discuss interesting case studies from his over 3 years’ experience using PSMA-targeted PET imaging to demonstrate the role of PSMA-PET in informing treatment decisions both at the inital staging of men with high risk disease as well as in the recurrent setting as well as discussing the prognostic value of PSMA-PET. The session will end with a discussion on Radiomics and how AI may help facilitate image interpretation and could play a role in patient education. Professor of Radiology and Division Chief Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics The University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Chapel Hill, North Carolina Dr. Rowe obtained his MD and PhD in chemistry from the University of Michigan before undertaking training in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine at Johns Hopkins. He was on the faculty at Hopkins for 7 years before moving to the University of North Carolina last year. In his current role, he continues to pursue research in the molecular imaging of genitourinary malignancies, with a focus on the role of PSMA PET in prostate and other cancers.
